Blue, standard Mattel JW or scientifically accurate?

Decide what your raptor fan actually wants. If it’s specifically Blue from Jurassic World, the only fair-priced option right now is Mattel’s chibi-styled Bite Club Blue. If it’s a full-size Mattel Jurassic World velociraptor action figure (Blue-style but not Blue), the Fierce Force Camp Cretaceous is the realistic-action pick. And if accuracy matters — museum, classroom, paleo fan — the feathered Schleich or Papo are the right call.

Were Velociraptors really like the movies?

Honest answer: not really. Real velociraptors were turkey-sized, walked on two legs and were covered in feathers — far more bird than scaly lizard. The big “raptors” in Jurassic Park are actually closer in size to Deinonychus. So if scientific accuracy matters, the Schleich and Papo (both feathered) are the toys to go for; the Mattel JW figures are the movie version, which is fine if that’s what you want.
